Caring People. Stronger Communities.

Who we are
Wild Rose Care Community Services, also known as WRC Community Services, is a community organization at 5026 50 St in Lloydminster, Alberta. We are here so people have a calm place to start when daily life becomes complicated.
Our attention is for seniors, newcomers, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, and anyone facing social or practical barriers. We listen first, then help with practical next steps and connections to local resources.
Please read the service areas on this website as the supports we intend to offer. When you contact us, we will tell you honestly what we can help with today.
Service areas
Six of our intended service areas are introduced below. Also included: Family and Community Well-Being.
Companionship, social connection, and help finding local community resources for older adults.
Connecting people who may feel isolated or unsure where to turn with practical support and local resources.
Settlement information, a welcoming introduction to the community, and referrals to appropriate organizations.
Help identifying appropriate transportation options and planning how to reach appointments or community activities.
Help connecting eligible individuals and families with food programs, clothing assistance, and other essential community resources.
Support for inclusive community participation, accessibility information, and referrals that help with everyday community life.
We are committed to a Lloydminster where people are met with dignity, included in ordinary community life, and supported to take the next practical step. Care, for us, is both personal and shared: neighbours helping neighbours, with warmth and clear professional boundaries.
Rooted in Alberta. Growing Together.
Every person deserves to be addressed by name, heard without hurry, and supported without shame.
Community life should have room for seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities, families with limited income, and anyone who has been left out.
We meet people with warmth and patience, especially when a situation is confusing, tiring, or hard to talk about.
We honour people's choices, privacy, cultures, and independence. Help should never come with humiliation.
The aim is not to take over. It is to help people and neighbourhoods build connections they can use and trust.
Community involvement
Community care depends on people willing to give time, attention, and practical help. WRC Community Services welcomes expressions of interest from neighbours who want to contribute.
Submitting this form does not mean a volunteer position is open today. If a suitable opportunity is confirmed, we will contact you.
