What we collect
Public pages can be read without an account. If you send a form, we collect the fields you complete, such as your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, the type of request, and your message. Partnership enquiries also include an organization name and role.
We ask you not to include health information, immigration records, or financial account details. The forms are not designed to collect those records.
Why we collect it
We use form details only to reply to you, to consider a volunteer interest or partnership enquiry, and to keep a record of that conversation. We do not sell personal information.
Consent and your choices
Forms ask for consent before they are sent. You may call us to ask what information we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete a message when we no longer need it to respond.
Where messages are kept
Messages are stored on the website server so staff can read them in the dashboard. If email notification has been configured by the organization, a copy may also be sent to the organization’s notification address. Staff sign-in uses a private session cookie. That cookie is not used for public visitors.
Analytics
Google Analytics is optional. The script loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” If you decline, or if analytics has not been configured, the analytics script is not loaded. When it is used, IP anonymization is requested. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s saved data in your browser.
Maps and other services
The location map is provided by OpenStreetMap. A link may also open Google Maps. Those services receive the technical data their own sites normally receive when a page or map is loaded. Their privacy practices are separate from ours.
Canadian privacy principles
We aim to follow fair information principles that apply to our activities in Canada, including limited collection, consent, safeguards, and access. This page does not name a privacy officer because that role has not been published. Call the number above and ask for the person responsible for website enquiries.
Children
These forms are meant for adults making an enquiry. Please do not send a child’s sensitive information through a general form.
