About Wild Rose Care Community Services

A Lloydminster community organization working toward practical care, inclusion, and stronger local connections.

Who we are

WRC Community Services is the short name for Wild Rose Care Community Services. We are based at 5026 50 St, Lloydminster, Alberta.

The prickly wild rose is Alberta's provincial flower. It is hardy, open, and rooted in prairie soil. We take it as a reminder that care should be gentle and strong, and that communities grow when people look out for one another.

This website introduces our purpose, the service areas we are developing, and how to reach us. We do not publish staff lists, board names, accreditation claims, or an organizational history unless those details have been confirmed for the public.

Our mission

Our mission is to support seniors, newcomers, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, and people facing social or practical barriers, through compassionate community outreach, practical assistance, and meaningful connections to local resources.

Our vision

We imagine Lloydminster, and communities across Alberta, where people belong, where asking for help is met with respect, and where neighbours, families, and local organizations grow stronger together.

Our core values

Dignity, inclusion, compassion, respect, and community empowerment guide how WRC Community Services hopes to show up for people.

  1. 01

    Dignity

Every person deserves to be addressed by name, heard without hurry, and supported without shame.

  2. 02

    Inclusion

Community life should have room for seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities, families with limited income, and anyone who has been left out.

  3. 03

    Compassion

We meet people with warmth and patience, especially when a situation is confusing, tiring, or hard to talk about.

  4. 04

    Respect

We honour people's choices, privacy, cultures, and independence. Help should never come with humiliation.

  5. 05

    Community empowerment

The aim is not to take over. It is to help people and neighbourhoods build connections they can use and trust.

Our commitment to Alberta communities

We are rooted in Lloydminster, a prairie community that understands both independence and neighbourly care. From here, we hope to contribute to a more inclusive Alberta, one relationship and one practical act of support at a time.

Growing together means listening before acting. It means working with local businesses, nonprofits, community centres, healthcare organizations, and social service providers when a collaboration is welcome and confirmed. It also means being plain about what we can do, and honest about what we cannot.

Rooted in Alberta. Growing Together.
